My journey in Technical Theatre began at Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) in 2018. I graduated in 2021 with a BA in Visual Art with a Theatre Design concentration. During that time I maintained a 4.0 GPA and also graduated with Honors, summa cum laude.

My time at SLU launched me into my career as a Scenic Designer and Technician starting at Kings Dominion, a theme park in Virginia. After my time there, I moved back home to Louisiana and worked at a local fabrication shop doing carpentry, finish work, and installation. My most recent employment was at SLU as the Technical Director and Facility Coordinator over the music department.

I also worked professionally as a Scenic Designer in New Orleans with Jefferson Parish Performing Arts Society until starting my graduate studies for Technical Direction at Northern Illinois University. I am looking forward to graduating with my M.F.A in 2027 as well as starting my career in the Chicago area.
